The snow storm that came over Monday and Tuesday dropped 8-10 inches. We expected this was going to happen, but it seems as though the plow trucks were not ready to manage all of the snow that came our way. One MDOT crew member gave a short interview while he was waiting for his truck to fill up with gas, he said My boss knew this was coming but he didn't want us to start going right away, he wanted us to wait until the snow stopped before we can leave the yard.
Well folks,
now you know why the roads were such a mess this morning, it was because the plow manager said not to go plow the roads. I was thinking about this and wondering what the mind set was for this manager not to send is men out to plow and since the roads were a mess that maybe if he would have sent them out the roads wouldn't be so bad and there wouldn't be as many crashes along the highway slowing traffic down even more.
After this massive snow storm all of these shcools want to reopen but tey cannot because there is so much snow piled up around the school doors and parking lots not even the plow people are able to get in there and clear the snow. Just another case of not being prepared for the storm, of course you cannot trust the weather people because the last few times it has predicted to snow, it decided to be a sun ball and be around 36 degreees. All of the schools around your area are going to be working really hard to get all of the snow moved so we can resume tomorrow or the day after that. Hopefully you have enjoyed this little new article explaining why you are stuck at home with your kids, it was because of a little bit of snow which turned into almost a foot without notice.
